How to prepare Adai dosa

Whenever I prepare Adai dosa  in my home, my neighbors used to ask me, “Any special menu at your home?” Because aroma of the adai dosa is very rich and its preparing with all dal. So adai dosa is very healthy and tasty. This dosa not need any side dish, but its good combination with coconut chutney. Everyone try this recipe and be healthy.

Basic information : 

Time Consume :
For batter : 30 Mins
Dosa : 2 Mins
Serve : 5-6 Persons

Ingredients :

Raw rice : 1 Cup
Idly rice : 1 Cup
Channa dal : 1/2 Cup
Toor dal : 1/4 Cup
Urad dal : 1/4 cup
Red chilly : 15 Nos
Fennel : 2 Tsp
Asofoetida : 1 Tsp
Onion : 2 Nos
Coconut : 1/2 Cup

Tips :

Instead of fennel, we can add cumin seeds.
We can add the raw onion also. But if we add fried onion, we can get rich aroma and taste.
Method :

For Batter :

Soak all the dal and rices for 30 minutes. After that grind all. While grinding, add red chilly, fennel and asafoetida powder. Grind for 5-10 minuets.

Heat oil in kadai, add mustard. After mustard pops, add chopped onion and fry well. Add the fried onion into the batter with coconut peaces.
Add salt and pour the batter in the dosa thava. After 1 minuet turn the dosa and leave for 1 minuet and serve hot.

Here! Very tasty and hot adai dosa ready with coconut chutney.
