Corn with peas fry

Corn and peas is a very good combination. Green, yellow and tomato’s red.. What a colorful dish. Being colorful, all the kids will like this fry. This goes with chapathy or we can have as a side dish for rice. It is very tasty and healthy recipe and easy to prepare also. I am using pepper powder for spicy and 1/4 teaspoon of chilly powder for extra spicy. If we want as spicy less fry, then we can avoid chilly powder. In this, i am adding 1/2 teaspoon of oregano powder. It is optional. If we add, the taste will be very nice and we gets nice aroma. Let we see, the preparation of Corn and peas fry.

Ingredients :

Corn : 1 Cup
Peas : 1 Cup
Onion : 1 No
Ginger garlic paste : 1 Tsp
Tomato : 1 No
Curry leaves : Few
Pepper powder : 2 Tsp
Chilly powder : 1/4 Tsp
Salt : To taste
Oregano powder : 1/2 Tsp
Oil : 2 Tsp
Fennel seeds : 1/2 Tsp

Method :

Heat oil in a pan, add fennel seeds. Add nicely chopped onions and saute well. Add ginger garlic paste.

Add chopped tomato and saute well till the tomato gets smashed.

Add corn and fresh peas.

Add pepper powder, oregano powder, chilly powder and salt.

Add little water and cook for 10 minutes. After the corn and peas cooked well, transfer to the serving bowl and serve hot…
