Prawns is one the most favorite food items for me and all my family members. I always try the same method to prepare prawns masala. This time, I tried in Chettinad style. It came very well and the taste.. Unbelievable… It was so nice taste and nice aroma. This type of masala having more spicy because of adding red chilly and black pepper. Normally, We will add more spicy for prepare prawns and this will be little more spicy. Usually, my daughter will not eat much spicy. But, I was surprised, she had this dish without and fuss. Keep ready with the grinding ingredients. Heat kadai and dry fry all.After cool down, grind the fried ingredients as paste with adding ginger and garlic .Clean and wash the prawns and add it in hot kadai without adding oil and water. Add turmeric and salt. Stir occasionally. No need to add water as prawns having it’s own water content and also it will cook quickly. Do not overcook, it causes the prawns rubbery. Keep the cooked prawns aside.Heat oil in same kadai, add finely chopped onions and curry leaves. Saute till the onion gets transparent.Add ground paste and stir. Add curd and little salt. (We already added salt for prawns. We can add salt for the masala only).Add cooked prawns and mix it well.
