We always used to think about some different snack items for our kids. Today, I tried samosa pin wheels using potato stuffing. It came very well and it’s taste… unbelievable.. it was so nice. My daughter liked very much and she asked for her friends also in snacks box.

I added boiled groundnut in this stuffing. We can add different our own innovation in stuffing. We can add paneer, green peas, mushrooms with potatoes. We can also add non-veg like chicken, mutton or fish. It is very easy to prepare and the presenting the simple recipe in different way is always all the kids will like it. I am excited to share this wonderful kid’s favorite appetizer samosa pinwheels. Let’s see how to prepare the samosa rolls.

Basic information :
Preparation time : 15 Mins
Cooking time : 6 Mins
Serve for : 4 Persons

Ingredients :

For dough :
Maida : 1 Cup
Rava : 2 Tsp
Salt : To taste
Oil : 1/2 Tsp
For Stuffing :
Potatoes : 2 Nos
Groundnut : 2 Tsp
Onion : 2 Nos
Mint leaves : 2 Tsp
Coriander leaves : 2 Tsp
Ginger garlic paste : 1/4 Tsp
Cumin powder : 1/2 Tsp
Turmeric powder : 1/4 Tsp
Chilly powder : 1/2 Tsp
Salt : To taste
Lemon juice : 2 Drops
For fry :
Oil : Deep fry

Method :

In a large mixing bowl, mix all purpose flour, rawa, salt with water to make soft dough. No need to kneed the dough. Cover the dough and leave it for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, we can make the stuffing.

Boil the potatoes, peel off, and smash it thoroughly. Add chopped onions, boiled groundnut, mint leaves, coriander leaves, cumin powder, chilly powder, salt. Add 2 drops of lemon juice for more taste. Mix all well.

After 15 minutes, slightly knead the dough and 3 divide equal parts. Spread the roll with using rolling pin. Place the potato stuffing over the dough spread. Press with your hand gently. Roll the stuffed dough as round. Roll the round to stick the stuffing. Gently cut into wheels.
pin-wheelsHeat oil in a frying pan, deep fry the wheels. After the wheels came golden brown take out from the oil and serve hot with tomato sauce.
