Green peas is having amazing health benefits. It is full of Vitamin C and B. We can get peas as dried in packets. But I’m using fresh green peas after removing outer skin. For making pulao, I’m using fresh green peas only. This gives the rice more taste than the dried one. With using green peas, we can cook different types of dishes. Heat oil or ghee in a pressure cooker. (We can use both ghee and oil). Add bay leaf and spices. Add sliced onions, curry leaves with green chilies. Saute till the onion gets golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste and saute. It is time to add fresh and cleaned green peas and saute for 2-3 minutes.Add washed rice and saute.We can add water in rice 1:2 ratio. Squeeze lemon and add salt to taste.Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and close the cooker with lid and wait for pressure release.After pressure release, put cooker weight in the pressure cooker. Make sim on the flame and leave for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, switch off the flame, wait for pressure release for 5 minutes.Here,..
