Basundi or Basunthi is one of the tasty Indian dessert sweet. It is fat thick milk with saffron and cardamon flavor decorated with chopped dry fruits. Boil the milk in a bowl. When the milk is boiling and thickening, add sugar in it.Boil it more and more. Stir it occasionally. When the milk thickens, add saffron soaked milk and mix it. Add cardamon powder.Stir and it turns yellow in color.Switch off the flame and allow it to cool down completely.Keep it in refrigerator for chilling with adding chopped dry fruits.After getting chilled, transfer to the serving bowl, serve it chill.
