Homemade pasta in white sauce / Creamy white sauce in pasta

I used to purchase pasta in packets with sauce maker powder in it. My daughter likes this creamy pasta in white sauce. I want to try this Italian pasta recipe at my home. YA.. Today I tried and it came very nice at my first attempt itself. Different types of pastas we can see in the market. Usually white sauce pasta is made in Penne pasta. But I tried in Fusilli type of pasta. It is gluten free and fiber rich ingredient which can give for our kid’s lunch box also. The white sauce which I made is very healthy, because of adding milk, butter and oregano herb seasoning. I usually think, pastas have to be eaten when it is hot. After getting cold, it will be sticky. But, I was wrong, my kid took this wonderful pasta for her lunch box and she loved it. I very much enjoy to share this rich creamy white sauce pasta to you all. Let us see, how to prepare the pasta in creamy white sauce.


Heat a bowl of water and add the fusilli pasta with salt and 1 tsp of oil and allow it to boil for about 10-15 minutes.After  the pasta boiled well, drain the water. Meanwhile, we can make white sauce.Melt butter in a kadai, add 2 tsp of maida and roast till it roasted well.Keep the flame simmer and add milk slowly. Mix milk well with the roasted maida without making lumps.Add pepper powder, 2 pinches of salt and oregano herb seasoning. Mix well and switch off the flame.Heat oil in another kadai, add chopped garlic and onions. Saute till the onions turn golden brown. Add boiled pasta and sweet corn.Add the saute pasta and onion into the white pasta and keep it in low flame for 2-3 minutes.
After 3 minutes transfer the creamy pasts to the serving dish and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.Try this yummy creamy pasta and enjoy with your kids.. Please post your yummy comments..
