 Masala biscuits made with wheat flour.. This is not a sweet biscuits. Salty, mild spicy Kara biscuits. Biscuits are all time favorite in our home. My daughter likes salty biscuits more than sweet biscuits. Instead of buying always in markets, I thought of making this yummy kara biscuits at my kitchen. I also added some coarse paste of coriander leaves, green chilly and ginger. It gives the biscuits rich aroma and nice taste. Crunchy, soft biscuits, that too can prepare easily and quickly. I made this biscuits in wheat flour to make more healthy. I’m sure that all kids will love it. Try this amazing masala biscuits and feel the different taste in biscuit..

Method :

In a blender, make coarse paste in coriander leaves, green chilies, ginger.

Take one cup of  wheat flour, 2 tablespoons of maida in a mixing bowl, add melting butter and coarse ground paste.Mix gently with your hands. Add 1 tbsp of curd and cumin seeds(jeera).Kneed as dough with adding little water. Keep the dough covered and leave rest for 30 minutes.After 30 minutes spread the dough as Roti. Sprinkle some oregano seasoning and more cumin seeds if you want.We can cut any shape like diamond or square or round. I made diamond and round shapes as well. In round shape, make holes on the top of the dough.Preheat the oven in 220 degree centigrade and bake the biscuits for 20 minutes or till it turns golden brown on top.Mmmm.. Yummy.. Rich aroma masala biscuits are ready to serve. The crunchiness will come only after cool down the biscuits.
